In 1981, one of my first clients was a young artist that went by the name of Wyland.  He wanted to paint a Whale Wall in Laguna Beach but the City denied him on the grounds that it was a Mega Wall inconsistent with the village concept of Laguna Beach.  I went to work on an appeal and appeared with a dozen environmental activists that spoke about the need for the Whales and marine life.  We ultimately prevailed, and Wyland went on to become one of the most famous marine artists in the world.

Steve is also a pastel and portraiture artist.
